Ouagadougou, December 15, 2025 - The Minister of Economy and Finance, Aboubakar Nacanabo, inaugurated the 3rd National Academy of the Green Economy on Monday, December 15, 2025.

Held under the patronage of Ousmane Bougouma, President of the Transitional Legislative Assembly, the three-day forum ran from December 15 to 17 and was themed: “Green Transition in Burkina Faso: Challenges and Acceleration Strategies in a Context of National Rebuilding.” The event provided a platform to explore how the ecological transition can drive economic growth, environmental sustainability, and societal well-being.

He called on all stakeholders to leverage the ecological transition as a catalyst for development, resilience, and harmony between citizens and the natural environment.
