Ghanaian Vice President Arrives In Kigali For Africa Governance Forum
Kigali, August 24, 2026 - Ghanaian Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang arrived in Kigali to attend the inaugural Africa Mindset Reset Forum, reinforcing Rwanda's role as a venue for continental policy gatherings.
Opoku-Agyemang is representing President John Dramani Mahama at the forum, scheduled for August 25-26 at the Kigali Convention Centre. The event is organized by the African School of Governance and is expected to bring together leaders and development stakeholders from Africa and beyond.
Organizers said about 80% of participants are youth and young leaders. The event underscores Kigali's continued effort to position itself as a hub for governance, leadership dialogue and pan-African convening.
