Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop Meets Saudi Ambassador
Bamako, February 5, 2026 - Mali’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdoulaye Diop, received Abdullah Saleh Saber, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Mali, for an official audience on Thursday in Bamako.
The meeting took place in what both sides described as a cordial and fraternal atmosphere, reflecting the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between Mali and Saudi Arabia.
During their discussions, the two officials reviewed priority areas of bilateral cooperation, highlighting the importance of strengthening and diversifying partnerships in sectors of mutual interest.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening relations based on solidarity, mutual respect, and shared interests, with the objective of advancing cooperation for the benefit of the Malian and Saudi peoples.
