ENAM Graduates 1,290 Trainees in 2023-2025 Class, Prime Minister Names Cohort “Sovereignty”

Ouagadougou, December 9, 2025 - The National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) officially awarded diplomas to its 2023-2025 graduating class, comprising 1,290 trainees, in a ceremony held on Tuesday in Ouagadougou.

The event was presided over by Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo, with the Minister of Public Service, Labor, and Social Protection, Mathias Traoré, other government officials, and dignitaries in attendance. The Prime Minister named the graduating cohort “Sovereignty”, reflecting the importance of national service and responsibility.

Minister Traoré highlighted the significance of the graduates in fulfilling state needs and pledged to accelerate their integration into relevant ministries and institutions. He encouraged the trainees to become “progressive and patriotic revolutionaries”, guiding Burkina Faso toward a better future through endogenous development, and to uphold the values of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

ENAM Director General Dr. Jacob Yarabatioula noted that the class spans P, A, B, and C cycles, covering 19 programs and 53 sections across the central institution and regional institutes, achieving a 100% success rate. He expressed gratitude to the Board of Directors and the Scientific Council for their support.

The ceremony’s patron, El Hadji Moussa Kouanda, urged graduates to serve the state with integrity and efficiency, warning against opportunism and corruption. “Just as energy flows to provide light, ensure that public service flows efficiently everywhere,” he advised.

Class representative Pascal Tiendrebeogo pledged that the graduates would carry the spirit of their cohort throughout their professional journeys.

The event included the presentation of diplomas and awards to top graduates, recognition certificates for the sponsor and the Georges Namoano Academy, and a guided tour of ENAM’s new media library. Additionally, ENAM inaugurated new facilities, including a digital media library, modern amphitheater, multi-sports field, renovated school façade, and a paved access road.

The graduation marks a major milestone in preparing competent and patriotic professionals to serve Burkina Faso’s public administration.
