By Sarah Ndaya2 min readFrançais

The Public Prosecutor at the Court of Auditors, Salomon Tudisehe, revealed that 26 cases of mismanagement were identified between June 2022 and December 2024, six of which have already resulted in convictions, while 19 are still under investigation. During a discussion held on 7 October in Kinshasa, he stressed that these budgetary irregularities deprive the Congolese population of essential services such as health, education and employment.

Despite a lack of financial resources, the public prosecutor's office claims to have carried out its audits in accordance with international standards, reaffirming the role of the Court of Auditors in transparency and good public governance.
