DRC and Tunisia Strengthen Trade and Investment Ties

Kinshasa, November 20, 2025 - The Democratic Republic of Congo and Tunisia have agreed to boost trade and intensify bilateral investments during the Tunisia-DRC Business Forum held in Kinshasa.

The forum brought together 17 Tunisian companies and numerous Congolese business leaders to explore opportunities for collaboration. Mike Tambwe, Director General of ANAPEX, emphasized the importance of creating value chains to increase the visibility of “Made in DRC” products on the Tunisian market.

Minister of Foreign Trade Julien Paluku encouraged Tunisian investors to form mutually beneficial partnerships with Congolese private enterprises, highlighting the potential for growth in key sectors such as technologies, innovation, and agro-industry.

The Tunisian ambassador to the DRC, Mahrez Ferchichi, reaffirmed the willingness of Tunisian entrepreneurs to invest in these sectors, a move welcomed by the Federal Economic Council (CEF), which noted that the DRC remains among Tunisia's main trading partners.
