Domestic Diplomacy and Social Cohesion Efforts
Niamey, October 14, 2025 - The Commission for Peace, Security, National Reconciliation, and Social Cohesion of the CCR, led by Honorable Mahamane Bachir Harouna Hambali, conducted a strategic field visit on Tuesday, October 21. The delegation assessed the operational conditions of key institutions including the High Authority for Peacebuilding (HACP), the National Center for Strategic and Security Studies (CNESS), the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD Niger), and the National Commission for Social Dialogue (CNDS).
This tour underscores the transitional government's concerted effort to centralize and streamline its peacebuilding and social cohesion architecture, ensuring these critical bodies are functional and aligned with the national refoundation agenda.
