Djibouti interior minister confirms readiness for April 10 presidential election
Djibouti City, April 2, 2026 - Interior Minister Said Nouh Hassan has confirmed that preparations for the upcoming presidential election scheduled for April 10 have been completed on time.
Following an inspection of the electoral process, the minister stated that the training of election officials and the distribution of voting materials across the country have been successfully finalized.
Authorities say the measures are part of efforts to ensure a smooth and well-organized electoral process as Djibouti heads to the polls.
