Niamey, October 18, 2025 - In a bold stride towards digital autonomy, the Minister of Communications, Adji Ali Salatou, launched the "Qwiper" application on Monday, October 20. This domestically conceived and hosted "super-app" integrates secure messaging, e-commerce, social networking, an e-wallet, AI services, and citizen services into a single platform. Qwiper embodies the government's ambition to not just consume foreign technology but to lead in the creation of secure, sovereign digital ecosystems aligned with national security standards.
