Ouagadougou, December 17, 2025 - The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation, and Burkinabe Abroad, His Excellency Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, received the Resident Representative and Country Director of the World Food Programme (WFP), Mr. Sory Ouane, in audience on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

During the meeting, Mr. Ouane presented WFP’s new operational plan for Burkina Faso, emphasizing a participatory and inclusive approach that involves government stakeholders in its development. He highlighted prior consultations with the Ministries of Agriculture and Economy to ensure alignment with national priorities.
