Bamako Hosts Roundtable on Migration and Cultural Promotion
Bamako, December 18, 2025 - The Ministry of Malians Abroad organized a roundtable on “Migration and Cultural Promotion”, bringing together officials including Minister Abdoulaye Diop.
During the event, Minister Diop highlighted the diaspora’s role as cultural ambassadors and called for greater political engagement and the establishment of cultural centers. The initiative aims to leverage mobility as a driver of creativity and solidarity, potentially strengthening national identity.
However, analysts note that limited access to resources could constrain the program’s impact unless accompanied by further investment and support.
