UNICEF and University Strengthen Strategic Partnership on Child Rights
NIAMEY, Niger - November 14 - UNICEF and Abdou Moumouni University signed a landmark memorandum of understanding on Friday, formalizing three years of collaboration into a broad strategic partnership centered on child rights research, professional training, and evidence-based policy development.
The agreement establishes a new Child Rights Research and Policy Center, envisioned as a national hub for producing advanced research on issues affecting children-particularly in education, health, and protection. It will also support the formation of a new generation of child rights specialists through tailored university programs and ongoing professional training for field practitioners.
