Rwanda has been awarded a prestigious honor for excellence and innovation, being named the Partner Country of the TT Warsaw 2025 International Travel and Tourism Fair, one of Europe’s most established trade events held annually in the Polish capital, Warsaw.

This marks Rwanda’s first participation in the fair’s 30-year history, where the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) was given the opportunity to showcase the country’s growing tourism industry during the official opening ceremony, attended by Poland’s Minister of Tourism and Sports.

Rwanda’s delegation was led by Ambassador Prof. Anastase Shyaka, who, in his keynote remarks, highlighted the strong bilateral ties between Rwanda and Poland, and expressed gratitude to the organizers for selecting Rwanda as the fair’s partner of honor.

“It is a sign of Rwanda’s diversity, and Rwanda is a great host,” Amb. Shyaka said, encouraging visitors to explore the country’s tourism offerings.

The Polish Minister of Tourism and Sports praised Rwanda’s organizational excellence, noting its successful preparations to host the 2025 UCI Road World Championships in Kigali.

Rwanda’s booth featured eight tourism and hospitality companies, showcasing the country’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and investment opportunities in the travel sector. The event also included a performance by the Icyeza Polish troupe, who presented the traditional Rwandan cow dance, to the delight of the audience.
