Bamako, January 5, 2026 The President of the Transition, His Excellency General Assimi Goïta, Supreme Commander of Malian Diplomacy, received the new Malian Ambassador to Geneva, Mr. Sékou dit Gaoussou Cissé, in audience on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Koulouba Palace. The meeting aimed to provide the diplomat with necessary guidance for the effective fulfillment of his mission to defend Mali’s interests in his host country.
