Kinshasa Pays Final Tribute to Brigadier General Muaku Mbuluku Daniel

Kinshasa, January 24, 2026 - Final tributes were paid on Friday, January 23, to Brigadier General Muaku Mbuluku Daniel, former commander of the 33rd Military Region of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC), nearly four months after his death. The late general, who died on Friday, September 12, 2025, following a sudden illness while on duty, was laid to rest at the “Le Repos du Soldat” military cemetery in Kinshasa. He passed away at the Uvira General Hospital, where he had been serving in South Kivu province.
