JNIM IED Attack Threatens Supply Routes to Sikasso and Bamako

Sikasso Region, Mali - November 15, 2025 - JNIM claimed responsibility for an improvised explosive device (IED) attack targeting Malian armed forces between Loulouni and Sikasso. The capture of Loulouni has opened supply routes from Ivory Coast to the jihadists, posing a serious threat to fuel deliveries to Sikasso and Bamako.
