Human Rights Capacity Building to Strengthen Public Service

Ouagadougou, November 21, 2025 - The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, responsible for relations with institutions, organized a training session from November 18 to 21, 2025, aimed at strengthening the human rights competencies of its staff. The goal is to equip personnel with the tools necessary to integrate a human rights-based approach into their daily work.

This training forms part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to consolidate the promotion and protection of fundamental rights, ensuring that all public actions uphold the principles of equality, dignity, and citizen participation.

The modules covered during the session focused on enhancing staff professionalism and improving the quality of public service. Presiding over the opening, Marcel Zongo, Director General of Human Rights, encouraged participants to fully engage in the program and take advantage of the training. He emphasized that a solid understanding of human rights is essential for building trust between the administration and the citizens.
