DRC-U.S.: Prime Minister Hosts Private Investment Workshop
Kinshasa, DRC - December 18, 2025 - Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka inaugurated a high-level private investment workshop organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in the DRC, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy and under the patronage of the President of the Republic.
The workshop, themed “DRC-U.S. Partnership: Challenges, Opportunities, and New Investment Dynamics,” aimed to advance commitments made at the U.S.-DRC Economic and Investment Forum in Washington, D.C., in October 2025.
Prime Minister Suminwa highlighted that responsible private investment is key to economic growth, innovation, and sustainable job creation. U.S. Ambassador Lucy Tamlyn expressed American confidence in the DRC’s economic potential, while Yannick Sukamunu, from the American Chamber of Commerce, noted that the recent peace agreement with Rwanda created a favorable environment for investment and development.
