DRC: SEGUSE Digitizes Import-Export Numbers to Streamline Foreign Trade

Par Jean-Marc Okito2 min de lectureEnglish

Kinshasa, DRC - On November 5, 2025, the Integrated Single Window for Foreign Trade (SEGUSE) launched the digitization of procedures for obtaining and renewing import-export numbers in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Under the new system, economic operators can now submit applications online through the SEGUSE digital platform, receive payment notifications from the General Directorate of Administrative and State Revenue (DGRAD), make payments via bank transfer, and obtain their numbers directly in their accounts.

Officials say the reform will reduce processing delays, minimize errors, and prevent the loss of documents. The initiative is part of broader efforts to modernize foreign trade, improve the business climate, and encourage compliance, with authorities warning that non-compliance may result in legal penalties.
