Burkina Faso-Saudi Arabia Relations: Ambassador Fahad Aldosari Bids Farewell

Ouagadougou, December 17, 2025 - His Excellency Fahad Aldosari, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Burkina Faso, concluded his five-year tenure with a farewell visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation, and Burkinabe Abroad on December 16, 2025.

During the visit, Ambassador Aldosari expressed his gratitude to Minister Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, the Minister Delegate for Regional Cooperation, and the Ministry staff for their support, noting that their collaboration facilitated his diplomatic work and helped strengthen bilateral ties.

“The collaboration with stakeholders at the Ministry has been fruitful. It allowed me to develop my diplomatic skills and advance joint initiatives,” the Ambassador said, affirming Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to dynamic cooperation with Burkina Faso.

Minister Traoré praised Ambassador Aldosari for his personal dedication, which has reinforced partnerships in sectors such as health, education, and humanitarian aid, and wished him continued success in his future endeavors.

Ambassador Aldosari assumed his post in Burkina Faso in 2021, leaving behind a legacy of strengthened cooperation and mutual understanding between the two nations.
