London, UK - English Premier League club Arsenal has announced a long-term partnership with Payroll and HR services provider Deel, replacing Visit Rwanda after eight years. The announcement was made on Friday, December 12, 2025, and the new sponsor will appear on the club’s left shirt sleeve starting from the 2026/27 season.

The deal was brokered by Darren Dein, son of former Arsenal shareholder and vice-chairman David Dein, and signed by Arsenal Chief Commercial Officer Juliet Slot, with approval from CEO Stan Kroenke.

Slot stated, “We are delighted to welcome Deel to the Arsenal family. They are a talented and innovative team. Their investment will help us achieve our goals and grow as a club.”

Arsenal’s contract with Visit Rwanda, which began in 2018 and was valued at $13.4 million annually, came to an end last month. Rwanda earned $647 million from tourism in 2024, with a goal of reaching $1 billion by 2029.

Rwanda has also pursued partnerships in the United States, including with the LA Clippers (NBA) and LA Rams (NFL). President Paul Kagame emphasized that if the Arsenal partnership is rejected, the funds could be redirected to other investments, noting that more sports collaborations are expected.
