Air Force Technical School (ETAA) Welcomes First Class of Technicians
Niamey, December 16, 2025 - The Air Force Technical School (ETAA) officially inaugurated its first class of Air Force technicians on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The ceremony, held under the high patronage of the General of the Army, Minister of State and Minister of National Defense, represents a major milestone in developing essential technical skills to ensure the sovereignty and security of Niger’s airspace.
In his address, Deputy Commander Soumana Adamou Abdelaziz expressed gratitude to all contributors to the creation of the ETAA, highlighting the vital role of officers, instructors, and staff in meeting the school’s objectives. He emphasized that the ETAA not only strengthens military capabilities but also symbolizes national hope and advancement.
The establishment of the school reflects a collective commitment to a stronger, better-prepared defense force, combining professional excellence with discipline and a sense of duty.
