London, March 31, 2026 - Rwanda’s National Agricultural Export Board (NAEB) and partner agencies are participating in the International Food & Drink Event (IFE) 2026, currently underway in London at ExCeL London. The exhibition, which runs from March 30 to April 1, brings together global food, beverage, and agriculture stakeholders from across all continents, with more than 25,000 expected participants. Rwanda’s delegation is attending the event to strengthen existing export markets and explore new opportunities, particularly in Europe and the Middle East, amid ongoing regional disruptions affecting trade routes. Officials say the country is positioning itself as a growing hub for processed agricultural products and aims to increase international visibility for Rwandan exports. The participation aligns with Rwanda’s broader export strategy, following strong performance in 2025 when agricultural and livestock exports generated over $893 million, with projections exceeding $1 billion for the 2025/26 fiscal year. The government views events like IFE as key platforms to expand market access and attract international buyers for Rwandan products.
