Among those paraded was Kalala Kapeta, a notorious figure linked to various criminal activities in the area. Commissioner Kantu condemned the alarming trend of police officers engaging in corrupt practices, including selling arrests and traffic fines, which has undermined public trust in law enforcement.

During the event, Kantu announced the implementation of vehicle document checks aimed at curbing illegal activities and restoring order. He emphasized the need for a collaborative approach to security, calling for a security council meeting with local notables to address the rampant crime and corruption.
