Ministers Wagué and Sissoko Participate in “Sunkalo Solidarity” 2026 Collective Iftar

Bamako, February 23, 2026 - On Monday, February 23, 2026, Lieutenant General Ismaël Wagué, Minister of State for Reconciliation, Peace, and National Cohesion, and Ms. Dembélé Madina Sissoko, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, participated in the 3rd edition of “Sunkalo Solidarity” 2026, held in Commune III of Bamako under the theme “Let us share together in communion”. The collective breaking of the fast brought together Muslim faithful, municipal authorities, traditional leaders, youth representatives, and members of ministerial cabinets. The event, held under the banner of solidarity and national cohesion, aimed to promote fraternity, social unity, and citizen engagement, reflecting the President of the Transition General Assimi Goïta’s commitment to fostering communal harmony and civic values in Mali.
