IOM provides humanitarian aid to survivors of migrant shipwreck off Djibouti coast
Obock, Djibouti, March 26, 2026 - The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has established a migrant response center in Obock to assist survivors of a recent shipwreck involving Ethiopian migrants. The center is providing shelter, food, medical attention, and psychosocial support to those rescued after the incident. Authorities and humanitarian partners continue to coordinate relief efforts as recovery operations proceed along the coast.
